People love to meet like minded people, here’s how

We all connect, text message, phone calls, email, Facebook and Twitter are all connecting tools that allow us to create an emotional bond with people.

Name the one area in life that you should be paying close attention to, it's what other people way. Listening is key. Really, don't be thinking about what you're going to say next just focus on the other people. We've got two ears and one mouth for a good reason, it's a secret to life. Listen more than you talk and you'll have that instant connection

When I ask you about your dinner and you said you ate out, I'll ask what you had, did you like it, what did you like best. Was the service good? Did you get an appetizer? This is how you connect with people on a conversation level.

Who's your favorite sports team? This simple conversation will soon have you talking about who's good and bad in the sport. Staying on top of the games in only one area of connection. Consider geography, people love to talk about where they are from, where they went to school and by listening to people response you can decide if it's something people love to talk about

Business is an area that you've got to have more specialized skills. Facebook marketing, sales, and networking are all keys to the inner circle of business. You should join your local chamber of commerce to be around like minded professionals, but don't forget those two ears should be doing their part. Don't talk too much, listen.
